Where We Fish

 

River Fly Outfitters is based in Livingston, Montana right next to the Yellowstone River and its tributaries.  While most of my trips focus on the Yellowstone area, I frequently travel to be at the best water when and where it is happening.  Therefore, you will find me on the Missouri River most definitely in June, the Boulder and Stillwater throughout July and likely into August, the Yellowstone in April and May and from July into the fall, on the Madison either traveling for summer caddis or June/July stoneflies and various spring creeks preferably in the spring through June and July.  Other areas guided included Yellowstone National Park (CUA 16-287), Blackfoot River, Big Hole and Beaverhead Rivers, and a few private lunker lakes. The focus is to be in the best spots at the best times. Here is a list of most of the places I fish.  Other areas may certainly be included should the timing be right.
