The heart of fall is here. Yellow leaves, brisk mornings, snow here and there and true fall fishing is happening. This year’s fall season has been traditional in the sense that we have actually had cold temps, a little precipitation and the type of solid fishing that those variables bring.

The Yellowstone River is a living organism at the moment. Salmon flies, Golden Stones, PMD’s, Drakes, and Yellow Sallies are pouring off the river. This is no fish story. If you have the chance get to the Yellowstone for some cold water, riffles, and eager fish that are being fed.
